A socket is the part of a build nobody photographs: a keyed, measured interface that either fits or does not. We named the shop after it because that is how we would rather sell you a desk mat — by telling you what it measures, what it is made of and what it costs, before you decide.

So every listing reads like a spec sheet. Sizes are given in inches rather than as “XL”, with the millimetre spec the mats are actually made to alongside. Materials are named. Shipping and sales tax appear before you pay rather than after.

We make desk mats — a smooth, low-friction surface printed edge to edge, finished with a rubber base and stitched edges so it stays put and stays flat. Around them sit the smaller things a table needs: trays, pouches and boxes that keep dice, cards and pieces in order between sessions.

We ship from our warehouse in the United States to addresses across the country. Prices are listed before sales tax, which we calculate from your delivery address at checkout, and every order carries the 30-day return window described on our Returns & Refunds page.
